Famed agency UM has doubled-down on their commitment to embedding culture in the fabric of its company and client campaigns. Deidre Smalls-Landau will now serve as the Chief Marketing Officer after previously holding the title of global head of culture. “It’s an amplification of building [cultural] expertise into the many other facets of the agency. … I will really be focusing on the intersection of advertising, media, technology and culture,” Smalls-Landau told AdAge.
